Wildco Folsom Plankton Splitter

Standard Methods suggests splitting until a subsample of 200 to 500 individuals is obtained. With this Folsom Plankton Splitter all you need to do is pour your original sample into the rotating drum and it will be divided with the use of a separating blade. The resulting two samples will be poured into two 500mL removable, alcohol-resistant Vivak plastic trays. Use one for your experiment and the other as a control. Unit has four adjustable leveling feet. Drum is not alcohol-resistant. Do not use chemicals such as acetone and ketone.
