Solinst Model 101B Water Level Meter, 100m

Economical yet durable, the 101B provides reliable depth-to-water measurements in wells, boreholes, standpipes, and tanks. The meter features a leak-proof P1 stainless steel probe that is connected to a rugged polyethylene flat tape. Once the 1/2” diameter x 4”L probe enters the water, a signal is sent back to the reel, and a light and audible buzzer are activated. The water level is determined by taking the reading directly from the tape at the top of the well casing or borehole. The 3/8”W tape features heat-embossed markings every centimeter and meter, reels smoothly, remains flexible, and utilizes seven stranded stainless steel conductors that resist corrosion and won’t stretch. The meter is powered by a standard 9V battery and features a brake on the reel and a convenient probe holder on the front of the faceplate. All electronics are coated for water-resistance.
