Effective, reliable and easy to assemble! Design refinements over the past 25 years ensure excellent capture success combined with low escape rates for these harp-style bat traps. Using 3 banks of monofilaments, the bats’ flight is impeded when they fly into the monofilaments causing them to fall to the bottom of the catching bag. The bats then crawl up the side of the bag, in between the cloth and the internal plastic lining to the uppermost region, where they settle in to sleep until ”rescued.” Constructed from selected high quality materials, these traps are lightweight, corrosion-resistant and durable. Traps are supplied fully strung, tension tested and complete with guy ropes. A comprehensive assembly and maintenance manual is included.
