With a 7/16” diameter stainless steel probe, these meters are ideal for use in wells as narrow as 1/2” in diameter. Use the meters to measure the thickness of floating (LNAPL) or sinking (DNAPL) products in monitoring wells or storage tanks, as well as for detecting the presence of water in storage tanks. Built to withstand rugged working conditions, the meters feature “smart” electronics which ignore severe scratches, condensation, and dripping. Two sensitivity controls for the water sensing and fluid sensing circuits allow for quick readings through heavy oils and prevent false positives of water or hydrocarbons. The tapes feature 1/100 ft. graduations, and a Kynar jacket protects the markings on the tape. Tapes meet or exceed federal specification US GGG-T-106E and European EEC Class II standard for a guaranteed accuracy of 0.008%.
