Solinst Model 122M Mini Interface Meter, 80’

Graduated in feet and tenths with markings every 1/100 ft. Small enough to fit in a backpack, this oil/water interface meter provides accurate measurements of product level and thickness in wells and tanks. When the meter’s 5/8” diameter stainless steel probe enters liquid, an infrared beam is refracted away from the detector, and an audible tone and light are activated. Product (non-conductive liquid) is indicated with a steady light and tone, and water (conductive liquid) is indicated by an intermittent light and tone. Both optical and electronic sensors use the same zero point, providing an accuracy of 1/200 ft. (or 1.0mm). The meter’s 0.12” (3mm) coaxial cable features a PVDF jacket with permanent laser markings, a braided copper outer conductor, a stranded stainless steel central conductor, and a chemical-resistant surface that is easy to decontaminate. The meter also features stable electronics with automatic circuitry testing. One 9V battery provides 300 hours of operation.
