Solinst Model 122 Interface Meter, 200’
Simple to operate, easily cleaned, and lightweight, it automatically tests the circuitry each time it is turned on. The 5/8” diameter probe allows easy access through tight spaces and into narrow wells. To detect liquids, this meter uses a probe with an infrared beam and receptor contained within a cone-shaped tip. When the probe enters liquid, the beam is refracted from the detector, activating a steady tone and light when the liquid is non-aqueous product. If the liquid is water, the conductivity of water completes a conductivity circuit which overrides the infrared circuit, activating an intermittent tone and light. Both optical and electronic sensors are precisely at the zero point, giving an accuracy of 1/200 ft. from the pre-marked tape. PVDF tape line is permanently laser-marked in feet, tenths, and 100ths. Stranded stainless steel and copper-coated steel conductors are embedded in the flat-tape cable, preventing cable stretch and providing strength. Easy-to-splice tape is attached to probe. Tape guide/datum provides repeatably accurate measurements and protects tape from damage on rough edges of casings. Powered by one 9V battery (included). Automatic shut-off after 10 minutes assures battery life of approximately 120 hours. Rugged, freestanding reel with carrying handle, carrying bag with shoulder strap, and tape guide included.
