The Pondwater Tour Kit

Designed for a class of up to 50 students (4th - 8th grades), the Pondwater Tour allows students to test varying levels of pH, dissolved oxygen, nitrate, and ammonia found in local ponds, lakes, and streams. Topics explored include the cycles of a pond, the watershed concept, and the effects of pollution. Included with the Pondwater Tour are hands-on exercises, experiments, and games to help the students understand key concepts; illustrated handouts, lecture materials, and test procedures to help you explain detailed information; foil wrapped reagents; sample bags; and background information to help students interpret results. Reagent refills are available. Kit measures 11” x 13” x 2”.
