These lightweight aluminum Ultrascenders lock in one direction and can be pushed in the other. A safety mechanism is integrated into the handle channel for maximum ease of use in long “over the lip” stretches. A thumb notch in the cam simplifies full cam retraction. Molded, plastic-lined handgrip. Attach anywhere on ropes from 8 mm to 1/2” in diameter. Three holes provided for different clip-in positions, depending on use. Use with optional ascender straps (below) for quick, easy ascents into trees using a sit and stand motion (carabiners are required for attaching straps to Ultrascenders).
