BenchTie

A recessed dimple on top provides a stable horizontal surface for a prism pole or stadia rod. Record information on the high-visibility, UV-resistant plastic tag to allow for a benchmark. Benchmarks and ties can be plotted on worksheets for quick and easy reference. Constructed of tough heat-treated steel with a zinc coating. Can be driven into telephone poles, trees, concrete (when pre-drilled with a 1/4” bit), or any other vertical surface. Ideal for surveying work in areas where no permanent horizontal position exists to set a benchmark. Tags measure 3” x 5”. BenchTie measures 5” x 3/4”.
