Comes with the RAC Plus I instrument, manual and all equipment needed to install in a vehicle, including distance sensor, installation cables and brackets. Accurate, reliable and easy to operate, these RAC Plus Series distance measuring instruments (DMIs) allow personnel to measure distance, accurate to 1 foot per mile, while driving as fast or slow as necessary. Results can be read directly off the DMI’s display. Easy to install with the Distance Sensors, they provide the best combination of accuracy and convenience. Other features include a lightweight, high-impact ABS plastic case (7.8”W x 2.3”H x1.2”D); dual 6-digit LED displays; four brightness levels; menu driven for selecting various operational capabilities; quick, simple automatic calibration on all vehicles - stores four separate vehicle calibration numbers for multi-vehicle usage; distance measurements accurate to 1 foot per mile, even at slow speeds; pre-distance if starting at a known point, count up/down or add/subtract distance from current display; count and display hold function; displays distance intervals between points of interest; and distance conversion from feet to miles to kilometers.
