BioQuest Tree Growth Study Kit

Students will learn how seasonal growth changes the appearance of layers of growth within the tree, producing annual rings. Students can estimate annual rings of three different tree rounds. Kit includes three tree rounds (one each of oak, pine and walnut), a hand magnifier, colored marking pins, a tree cross-section diagram, a metric ruler, reproducible student and teacher guides, activity sheets and the Golden Guide Book of Trees. Grades 6-10.
