Made of high-quality, heat-treated carbon alloy steel. Sharpened on both sides. The back end of is also sharpened for scalping. Penetrates the soil easily and helps keep the soil from refilling the hole while you place the seedling in the hole. Blades are 4” wide at bracket end.
