Turbidity column method. Sample in turbidity column is compared to second turbidity column to which a known amount of standardized turbidity has been added, readings in terms of Jackson Turbidity Units, range 5 JTU to 100 JTU. One reagent makes 50 tests, two to five minutes per test, 50 ml sample.
