Nitty-Gritty Soil Science Kit

Helps students learn about the type of soil texture, soil pH level, and nutrients a healthy plant requires to grow. Students can test soil for levels of pH, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium using non-hazardous, foil-packaged TesTabs®. The kit includes reagents for ten tests for each test factor. Also included are four test tubes with caps, twenty Floc-Ex Extraction TesTabs®, a pipet, and two flower pots. In addition, the Nitty-Gritty Soil Science Handbook includes step-by-step instructions for soil science experiments, interesting soil facts, and educational soil-related games and activities. Designed for ages 8 and up.
