Utility AirSpade Series 4000 Kit

Use the power of the AirSpade and a 185 cfm air compressor (not included) to safely and quickly dig most types of soil – even hard clays! Producing a stream of supersonic air moving at twice the speed of sound, the AirSpade penetrates and dislodges soil in a fraction of a second while leaving non-porous objects such as plant roots, buried pipes, cables, and fiber optic lines undisturbed. Ideal for use in transplanting, soil compaction relief, plant aeration, vertical mulching, damage analysis, and more. Designed with ultimate safety in mind, the Utility AirSpade Series 4000 tool features a high-voltage insulated barrel that is rated up to 300kV. Non-sparking brass nozzles, connectors, and adapters provide added protection when digging in and around utility lines. The oversized aluminum handle is specially engineered to accommodate users wearing safety gloves and features a plastic-coated ergonomic grip, a pressure gauge, and a “dead man” trigger with guard. A retractable stabilizer bar on the side of the handle allows you to operate the tool using both hands. Kit includes the AirSpade Series 4000 tool (a 90 psig supersonic nozzle, a 4’ fiberglass barrel with dirt shield, and a Series 4000 handle with a Chicago style swivel connector), 45° angled brass adapter, 10’ lightweight hose, and storage case with lock. Use the 45° angled adapter to change the direction of air flow and easily work around objects. The 10’ hose is lighter than standard air compressor hoses to help you work more comfortably over extended periods. Tip Diameter: 1.5”.
