This ready-to-use formulation controls a variety of troublesome aquatic weeds (including duckweed) for a year or longer and is easy to apply. Simply pour Sonar RTU directly into the water from the shoreline – no mixing or spray equipment needed! You can can treat an entire pond in just minutes. Sonar RTU contains 5% fluridone and stops photosynthesis, thereby robbing target plants of their ability to make food. Controls bladderwort, coontail, duckweed, egeria, elodea, fanwort, hydrilla, naiads, para grass, spatterdock, most watermilfoils, water lily, and most pond weeds. The herbicide has no restrictions for swimming, fishing, boating, or livestock use, even immediately after application. One quart treats 1/8 acre. Apply half of the total dose on day 1, one-fourth of the total dose on day 21, and the remainder on day 42. One-quart bottle.
