This small splitting axe is intended for basic splitting duties. The axe head is hand-forged from Swedish axe steel and has a tempered zone designed to hold a very sharp edge – even after many sharpenings. The axe head weighs 2 lbs. The 20”L curved, hickory handle is treated with linseed oil. Includes a leather protective sheath and a detailed user’s manual.
