AMS Quick-Connect All Stainless Steel Auger Bucket, Mud, 3-1/4”

For heavy, wet clays use the Mud Auger. Quick-Connect* All Stainless Steel Auger Buckets - Auger down to a depth of five feet in just two minutes – even in the hardest soils! Quick-connect design lets you quickly connect and disconnect components. Quick-Connect eliminates the problems of stripped or worn threads and the need for wrenches. With the Quick-Connect Adapter, you can convert thread-on augers to this new design. For applications where minimum contamination of your sample is important, use the augers with Stainless Steel Bit. On all augers, cylinders are stainless steel, 6-1/2” long. Overall auger length is approximately 12”. Cutting edges are stelite hard surfaced, heat treated, and sharpened to a fine cutting edge. Note: Quick-Connect assembly is cast steel. Remainder is stainless steel.
