SteriPEN Classic 3 Water Purifier with Pre-Filter

This portable water purifier uses ultraviolet (UV) light to quickly destroy over 99.9% of waterborne microorganisms! The SteriPEN is effective against viruses (such as Hepatitis), bacteria (including Salmonella and E.coli), and protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium). To use, simply remove the lamp cover, press the activation button, submerge in water, and stir. A liter of water can be purified in just 90 seconds. The included 40x40 micron screen pre-filter fits securely on wide-mouth one-liter water bottles and removes particulates that can get in the way of the UV light. This watertight purifier also features LEDs that indicate treatment size as well as status of the batteries and lamp. The ultraviolet lamp lasts for up to 8,000 treatments.
