SwedePro Nine-Layer Chain Saw Chaps, 40”L

If you use chainsaws, even occasionally, it is a good idea to wear protective clothing. SwedePro Chain Saw Chaps are made of an ISO 9000 certified material that was developed exclusively for use with chain saws. The nine-layer Engtex fabric is a combination of polyester and polypropylene fabric that fills the moving parts of the chain saw to stop the cutting action. Outer layer constructed of water- and oil-resistant 1,000-denier Cordura® nylon. Chaps feature two interlocking buckles on each leg, and a 1-1/2”W interlocking waist buckle that is adjustable from 30” to 42”. Machine washable. Chap lengths are total length, not inseam. Measure from your waist to the top of your foot for correct sizing. Important: These chain saw chaps cannot be used with an electric chain saw. An electric chain saw has too much torque. May not prevent penetration of the chain saw in some instances. The degree of protection will vary with the speed and sharpness of the saw chain; size and power of the chain saw; design of the chain saw sprocket; and operator’s technique, competence, and general physique. Not tested to meet current USFS standard.
